EPS on M800

Team

Is it possible to fit an EPS of Alto on an M800 5Speed MPFI?

Technically, it should be possible. Do check with one of the dealers in chennai. They sell the EPS unit as an unit. It should set you back by about 20K. But its worth it.

Is there space to fit in the required items ? I thought the packaging was tight ?

Better idea would be to sell your 800 & upgrade to an Alto Lxi.

Technically it should be possible but you would want to think twice before attempting anything like this. Its better to be proactive and not regret later. The best option would be to go in for a new car with power steering.

C'mon,man!! Not for the Power steering!
@sureshshanmugam:Fitting a Power steering is not a bolt-on job. The chances of major problems is very high. IF u're using 145/70/R12 (assumed stock size), and the wheel-alignment & balancing is done regularly, it should be as good as PS.
This comes from a guy who's driven a Non-power steering-ed Ford ikon for 70000kms in chennai city.
