engine transplantation

hello everyone

is it possible to fit a palio 1.6 16v engine or any other 1.8 poweful engine into the lancer .
It would make a good combination 1.6 100 bhp and lancer handling...

Dude so many modifications (like changing the engine) and all sounds weird, as far as U r totally mad to do it... It'll cost u atleast 30k. Sell ur Padmini for 15k. Add on that 30k plus few more and get a good 2nd hand car and enjoy. If u r into changing the Engine, then I have got one thing to tell u... Chaarane ki murgi pe baaarane ka masala..... Lol...
