Front window rattle

Hi,

I bought a Swift VXi in November 2006. Off late when the front windows are rolled down and when i close the doors the windows rattle. This does not happen with the rear windows. What do I do.

there could have been a problem with the holder which holds the glass, just get the side pad opened and get it checked, but i wonder why the windows of both the doors have the same problem

Do you have speakers installed in the doors?? If you do, then the window is hitting the speaker magnet when you shut the door. If not, you have to open the panel on the doors & tighten the cords that pull the window up & down.

A thick contiguous sponge-foam sheet against all 5 door panels alongwith cramming cotton-waste into the cavities of the 5th - the dicky door. Rs. 800.

Got it done from Blueraven

No. You'd be surprised at the power of elasticity.
