This manual is for the international version not for the indian version. Nothing in it matches our version.

The link to Maruti gives just the owners manual for the petrol car. Is there a maintenance manual softcopy for Diesel Swift anywhere?

Swift Workshop Manual.

I would like to get my hands on the Swift Petrol workshop manual. Workshops here refuse to part with their copies, while MUL Regional office say they ought to. I have no strings to pull anywhere. If any of you could procure a photocopy of the Workshop manual, I would be eternally grateful, and would be willing to fully reimburse the photocopy costs as well as the shipping costs from anywhere in India. Please be careful that I look for the Workshop Manual (the one they use in Workshops to repair cars) and not the Owners Manual. New ones are available at 2k+ I am told, and do not have that sort of money to fork out now.

Ported, incase you haven't already done it, I strongly suggest you take a look at RedlineGTi.com - Home of the Suzuki Swift GTi (ssgti). You'll be amazed at the information available there for the Swift (as well as other Suzuki's). Including the above mentioned service manual.

Thank Moral! I wait for your reply.

Rt, been there man! And Team-Swift and a hundred other suzuki resources. But they all have manuals for the 1300cc Twin Cam engine, also called G13B. I once found the manual for our G13BB on Ebay.co.uk, sold by someone from Israel, on a CD. But by the time I could pursuade my father to let me use his CC, he vamooshed.

Engine is the same as the Esteem right? Should be easy to procure. Lets wait for Moral to do some fishing. If nothing bites, let me know.

Sure thing, thanks! Same as the Esteem engine, but I think pre EURO 3 Esteem engines came with a Distributor, while now they run DIS. Also the Swift has different intake manifold, maybe different camshaft duration.

Infractions: 0/1 (10)

Baleno head, and slightly wilder cam.

MAI should have the whole thing by now, since the Swift is being homologated for next year. Atleast, that's what I've heard.
