Please help....FE down drastically after II servicing

Guys..pl. gimme clues....

Just done second servicing of my Swift and average is down from 15-16 to 11-12 in city ......

After servicing, I noticed that pickup is vastly improved and I was in heaven. Banged down immediately when the fuel indicator was racing with speedo...

I suspect that they have reconfigured ECU or done some clutch settings or changed other parameters which improves on pickup but hits of FE ?????

I am not a rich man and dont want that extra pickup but want FE restored...please help before I get down on Maruti guys.....

Even my Swift's pickup improved after the second service... but there wasn't any effect on the FE. It stayed in the 12-13km range.
Probably the current heat spell in Pune is playing trick.
BTW, how did you get 15-16 in city earlier? Where did you fill up?

Ask MASS to retune your car for mileage and less for pickup - they typically retune the engine for mileage/pickup based on their read of the car. No cause for worry though.

swifts around here including the one i have used considerably gives 11-12 km in bangalore city and gave 15-16 in highway (yeah i use gas pedal generously)

recheck your mileage after another tank full.dont panic.
if the mileage is still poor go back to the service station.they'll correct it.
