palio 1.6 fuel pump motor

Hi,I recently have purchased a used Palio S 10.Car has logged 40k kms and it looks and drives like a new car but in hot weather engine stops to perform after about 10-12 kms.First it stops to pick raves and finally it goes dead. There is no sign of engine overheating.Engine srarts only after cooling for about 20 minutes.I took the car to tata-fiat service centre only to find that it has been sealed last week.Few mechanics who were present there told me that it's fuel pump problem.According to them fuel pump motor is heating up,but motor is not available seprately so I'll have to buy complete pump costing upward of Rs 7000.
Is it possible to get this motor in market?

It should be possible to get the motor seperately in the local market. I had the same problem with my Ikon and the A.S.S asked me to replace the fuel pump. I got the motor seperately and sorted out my problem. However, you'll need a good local mechanic who has done this before.

Good Luck!

Kashmere gate auto market is where you should go. You may find something there.

I checked with a few dealers at Karol Bagh. They don't have one specially for Palio ,but some Denso ones for Santro which they claim will do fine in a palio as well. There is no warranty and a big dealer even warned that these motors are fake chinese imports and won't last 2 months even in a Santro.

Go to Kashmere gate, thats the only place.
Stay away from anything denso because denso is not denso in Delhi.
