you need to:
Check the AC
Check the exhaust, this can get dangerous & can deteriorate your health over a period of time.
Finally your audio system could be the culprit which was the problem in my case, my amp or woofer was emanating a gas which was making me unconscious.

Irritation of the eyes when getting into a car which has been parked under the sun for hours is quite normal. It is advisable to drive the car with windows rolled down for 5 minutes.

The culprit could be the dashboard polish too. Car dealers (old and new) spruce the dashboard and door panels of the car before they have it ready for delivery. It helps bring a shine and hides small scratches on the surface. In some cases, it enhances the colors.

I had the same symptoms that you experienced when I polished the dashboards of my cars. It looked spanking new, but the side effects were to follow.

It lasted for about 2 months in my Alto. However, driving with the windows open and some swipes with a cleaning cloth and water reduced the effects considerably.

it should not be his Electric system or polish as it won't smell as Engine Oil,

I had this issue in my Ford Escort (sold in 2007) whenever I switched on the A/C there used to be a irritating smell being emitted.Took it to Fortune Ford in Hyderabad and they were not able to fix it,Took it to a local garage who opened the dashboard and the problem was some dust and bits of dry leaves which accumulated in the air intake got it cleaned and the issue was fixed.

This feeling vanishes off, as soon as I switch my AC on. It also comes, when I switch on the blower only, without AC.

What it could be? If this could be fumes of battery, or AC gas or what??
Have you been able to solve this issue ? What was it? I have the same issue with my 8 year old Optra now. When the A/C is run for 30-45 minutes a strong oil like smell emanates into the cabin while in the inside circulation mode.
