Too much ride in my cluth pedal after servicing

Hey people,

I just got one of my cars serviced yesterday. The car in question here is a 2003 zen. Before I gave it for servicing (to Mitra), there was hardly ANY riding of my clutch, i.e., the distance travelled by the clutch before you feel it becoming hard (or engaging). But when I got it in the evening, there was quite a bit of riding before the clutch reached that point when you know it's engaging. Can a clutch become so loose in a matter of a few hours?! What could the trouble be? Other than this, they did a fabulous job of servicing, like they always have.

Any pointers would be appreciated!

You will need to pull your clutch cable to eliminate the play. This can be done by any garagewallah nearby....

Thye would have increased the play of the clutch, according to their thumb-rules. Just ask them to reduce the play

YA, all that needs to be done is some adjustment from near the left front tyre. I specifically get this done as per my requirement after every service.

I also faced the same problem in my zen you need to tighten the cable to adjust the play and nothing else .
