Matiz

Hi,
I am a new member of this group.
Joined to clear some of my querries about the car.
I have a matiz, lovely car.
The only thing i do not like in it is when the AC is on the car power reduces drastically. I woud like to know if adding a K&N filter help in increasing its power and performance.

Regard's
Raj.

It might show a marginal increase, but nowhere near enough to make the A/c easier on your engine.

A/c load on engines is higher for smaller capacity cars. I'm afraid you will have to live with it.

With a 800cc engine, you can't help but have loss of power. I too have a Matiz, it is an exciting car to drive at high speeds (130 kmph) but poor when it comes to driving around city with AC on.

With KnN, you will get a marginal increase, but if you go in for KnN and FFE then i think your problem can be solved to a certain extent.

Get a tri-phase that will help more than K&N

As u said (KnN and FFE ) i would like to know what is FFE and how does it help and howmush would it cost.

FFE-Free flow exhaust. Don't think you'll get a header off the shelf for Matiz, so cost is subjective.
I would recommend NOT to go for FFE, only for sake of only solving your a/c issue.

I don't think the ac issue will be solved with the FFE & K&N. But it sure will feel good with the ac off!
