Mahindra XUV 700 Niggles & Solutions Considering that a lot many customers have received the initial batches of the XUV 700, fresh from the oven; with some niggles (mostly small kinks at this stage) being reported widely across social media and also on T-BHP, thought of starting this dedicated thread.
With the kind of feature-loaded car rolled-out by Mahindra, a lot many things can go wrong and a lot of us will take time to acclimatise ourselves with the plethora of features on offer with the XUV 700.
As evidenced by an incident wherein a customer was given a free vehicle replacement by Mahindra because of his original vehicle facing issues with ADAS, let's hope this is not just the tip of the iceberg. Nonetheless, kudos to Mahindra for swinging into action and delivering a fresh vehicle to the customer.
A lot is riding on the XUV 700 for Mahindra, most importantly, establishing the brand presence in the slightly premium segment to attract a sophisticated and upmarket target audience to the company, hitherto not having a dedicated footprint in this segment. Yes, the THAR really opened a lot of doors for Mahindra, but still remains a niche offering. With the XUV 700, Mahindra is definitely hoping to cater to a wider audience, while garnering critical acclaim as well.
Mahindra After-Sales Sevice hasn't enjoyed the best reputation until now and the company is hoping to turn over a new leaf. Let's wish them all the best and hope they don't give us any space to complain! |
