Do you think the alternator of M800 can handle a 50/60amp battery? what would be the cost of a 60amp battery?

Beside alternator, also please consider the extra weight it adds on the car, if you are considering 50/60 amp battery.

Normally the charging rate will be 1/10 of battery capacity so its just 5-6 Amp when battery is fully charged so no need to upgrade Alternater, chek the weight of battry also if your car can accomodate then go for the suitable one.
Donno about cost search their site.

Gopz, i was using a sealed Bosch Silver Esteem battery in my 800. It never gave any problem and was more than capable in handling the100/130W Phillips headlamps + a pair of Hella 50W driving lamps + basic ICE (no amp & no sub) + Nautilus horns.

You could look at Bosch batteries too.

Panasonic 45amp battery with 50 months warranty (first 18 months replacement, rest is prorated) @ Rs.3837 -- Is this a good deal? The showroom is close to my office so just enquired just now.

Does anyone know where the nearest Amaron dealership is, around Koramangala?

And, I have my old battery for giveaway, almost 2 years but still seems to work fine...if anyone wants it, PM me..its an Exide (working perfectly fine)

please fit proper specification battery

i suggest you amaron maintainance free battery...as no top-up is ever required...plus 3 years warranty.
Please fit the recommended size and polarity battery otherwise ur ECU or other electricals may blow off.

amaron do make some really good stuff.while upgrading the battery do make sure you do change the connectors to thicker guage.having heavy current battery will not damage the internal ice but using thin wires for connections will surely burn up everything.best of luck
