Palio 3rd free service at Manipal Motors

Hi Guys,

Today I gave my Palio for its 3rd free service at Manipal Motors, airport road branch. No major work as such, such checkings and top up the oils. The service inspector estimated the service cost to around Rs.1000/-
Is the pricing right?Or is he playing on me?

If he is replacing engine oil + Oil filter + Fuel filter then the estimate is justified. And usually service stations give a high estimate and a lower bill to satisfy customers.

Thank you moral fibre.
But I wonder why do they change the Oil Filter + Fuel filter in every service.Do they?

I hope they don't replace my K&N air filter, though I had put a 'NO PICK' sticker of K&N.

It is a good practice to replace K&N with your regular filter, before giving it for service
