Hello everyone. Could anyone please post a link to download the service manual of Alto, more specifically the 1.1 version? If not, even the regular 800cc would do, as many things are the same. I have been hunting all over the place for it, but just cannot find it anywhere. I asked my MASS, they said that they don't sell it or give it. I even sent an email to Maruti regarding this, but have received no reply. Someone help me out please.

Ive been searching for almost 2years now for the Honda city Type 2 Service manual.But no luck.Im a DIY kinda person and like to do most of the things on my own.Ive been to many online groups,websites etc.But just no luck in finding it.Any idea on how i could get hold of it.I even wrote to The honda folks.But email went unoticed.

Though this is a late reply, you can get service manual as well as the parts catalogue from your local mgp dealer. I got mine from there itself.

I tried to source one through my contacts (who have moved out of Honda now) in Honda Design Team but no luck. One of the SAs hinted that a service manual can be ordered from Honda for a cost but did not show much interest when I pursued. If you have a friendly SA at one of the Honda A.S.S around, try speaking with him in this regard.

Looking for the service and owners manual for XUV 500 if someone can help with that.

I asked them. They said they can give me the parts catalogue, but for the service manual I need to contact the Maruti dealership. When I contacted them, they said that owing to recent MSIL policy they have stopped selling service manuals. Instead I need to contact the MGP dealer. I am stuck now, what to do?

PS. Meanwhile there is no response to emails from MSIL.

Maruti Dealers do not sell spare parts now. You have to approach the MGP dealer, who sells only MGP and does not offer service. Here is the address of the MGP dealer in Goa region:

The part number of the service manual for alto is: 99500M79G01-74E
The cost of the service manual is somewhere around Rs. 750

The part number of the parts catalogue is 99000M24120-313
The cost of the parts catalogue is Rs. 219.41

I hope the CCI looking at the spares monopoly will also take up the issue about manuals. I have every right for being able to maintain my car, with proper documentation. Also, as I have said many times we need an outlet selling Haynes manuals.

Though it is not up-to-date, most of the models are covered except Ertiga, New Swift, Dzire and SX4 Diesel.

Most of the MGP dealers are quite non customer friendly. Look for young chaps sitting in counters. The oldies, at least here in bangalore have a bit of headweight and are biased towards bulk purchasers and dealers. They are not ready to help individuals doing small purchases. OT, but there is a guy here who has part numbers by heart :O You mention the part, he blurts out the numbers. All you need to do is give them this part number and tell I want it. Usually if you ask queries they try to hush you off, which is annoying.
