Hi Sridutt, After nearly 16 months of use, it is still giving me only about 8-9 kmpl. As of today for the current fuel tank, the mileage stands at 7.8 kmpl. Actually, it lacks the torque needed for an MPV at low rpm's. So if you revv to climb an incline or even accelerate on a flat road, it will consume more fuel. The salespersons at Sai Service, Andheri should have told me not to buy it. Ertiga is made only for the highways and small cities with less traffic. Absolutely not made for Mumbai or Bangalore. However, in terms of space, it has served us fantastically well! And it is super smooth, super quiet, with a teriffic suspension. If you consider its intended purpose, it is an accomplished car. Truly a legend as the Auto YouTuber Mechanical Jugadu says. Unfortunately, mild hybrid is not good enough. They should at least have offered Diesel if not strong hybrid.
