i have a 4.5 month fiat palio diesel which has done around 5k kms.
since the last 2-3 days, i came across a particular starting issue.
it started when i tried to start the car one day and it didnt start, i tried the second time and it started normally.
then again the other day when i turned the ignition the heating coil light started to flicker, i closed and restarted without any problem.
also twice it happened that when i started the car it shut down after 3-4 seconds.
this behavious happens quite erratically and i have no clue about the reason. otherwise it runs fine.
anyone has any clue???
thanks in advance.
ECM issue. Happens when one of the sensors are off. I know of a Palio D which had the same problem; it's throttle sensor & FIP had issues.
In your case, it could also be the collision sensor in the passenger footwell.
Check it out via a scanner. That's the only way to troubleshoot a Palio D.
thanks a ton.
will keep that in mind.
Couldn't it be a starter problem?
got the car onto the analyzer, it showed errors in one of the relays, the dealership didnt had that relay in stock, i need to go to some other dealership to get a replacement.
does this relay problem sound plausible?
Relay, eh? Any idea which one? Did the mech specify which relay?
the red one-main relay, of 30 amp.
the main relay, of the two, Red and Black one, the culprit is the red one...of 30 amp.
