Petrol used in your car - Power, refinement and mileage perspective!

Hi,

I own a Hyundai Accent GLE, and 've been trying IOC premium, BP Speed, and HP Power, all tank fulls. I've noticed a significant variation in power, mileage and engine refinement when using the above mentioned varieties of fuel.

Observations:

HP Power: Excellent power and engine refinement, lesser mileage (9.5kmpl city)
BP Speed: Sluggish pickups in I and II gears, good mileage (10-11kmpl city - even under dense traffic), engine refinement takes a hit, kinda' coarse :-(
IOC Premium - neither notable power nor mileage - stopped using this brand
Shell, Reliance - not tried yet as bunks are neither near my workplace nor my residence

I know that the above changes drastically from car to car, but 'm curious to know your thoughts too on this. Please share your often used fuel brand and the reason for the same.

P.S. Mods, please move this to the appropriate section if necessary :-)

I am using Swift VXi for me it is bit different.

HP Power: Engine refinement but low on mielage (11 to 12 in mixed driving) and low power.
BP Speed: Good mielage. No significant increase in pickup from the HP Power.
IOC Premium: Used it for the first time - Excellent pickup (Power Horse), engine is slight rough or not so refined but very responsive. Yet to check the mielage
Shell, Reliance : Never Tried.

For my palio 1.2 nv, i have tried the following:

BP speed: Low engine refinement and a mileage of 11.5 Kmpl in city with 75% ac on.

Xtra premium IOC: Engine runs smooth. Delivers a mileage of 11 Kmpl. Awesome pick up.

I have used BP Speed and power and refinement was marginal and FE was about 1-2 kmpl more.

But on Speed 97, the power and refinement was significantly felt and mileage too was good. Had filled up 15 ltrs of 97 octane fuel for the first track day at MMSC and after all that hard driving i got around 9 to 9.5 kmpl.

IOC extrapremium provided slight engine refinement and power but with no significant or noticable increase in FE.

Shell fuel (regular) has given me better FE and engine refinement.
