Hi team - bhp ians ,

I am facing this suspension prob in my 97' zen which i bought it Second-hand hand just 20 days back , it has clocked 61k kms , this prob started ever since i went over 3 Speed Bumpers @ 60 km/hr in B'lore .

The problem is like the front wheel is rubbing against something , and it can be heard inside the car .

I also get a sound like some balss cracking when i move the car in 1st gear .

I think the Ball joint is completely weared-out.

I thought it was a wheel aligment problem and so did a Wheel Alignment at LAL's Chennai

Even after doing that i am facing the same prob . Now a new prob has come up .

I get queek-queek Noise when i go over the pathholes .

I think the Lower Arm and the Dampeners should be changed or is this the prob wid Struts ? I dont know whether the provios owner had changed the suspension ,.

BHP-ians plz advice me on this ,and wher to get it fixed ?

Your best bet would be to go to a Maruti authorized service station, discuss with them and decide what you want to have done, depending on how much you are willing to spend.

For around 6k you can have a complete overhaul for zen suspension, replace the lower arm, tie end, bushes also the strut bush kit (if your struts are fine).

Get axles checked and if necessary replaces, and you will have a trouble free experience with the car.

Its always advised to do a complete overhaul job with a second hand buy to avoid unpleasant surprises.
