Replacement of OEM Spark plug Wires

As parts tend to wear out with time. I was wondering whats the correct interval in which one changes the spark plug wires of the car?
Is there a great difference if one goes for the MSD or other kind ones?
My car has clocked 65K kms and is over 5 Years old.

Since your car has clocked 65K kms, it's time to replace the OEM Spark plug Wires.

The typical time is b/w 45K-55K.
