Color changing car!

Stumbled upon this somewehre.

"Color Changing Car - Nissan Paramagnetic Paint Coat"

With the flick of a switch, the color of this Nissan will change to match your mood or your outfit. The designers and engineers have worked out a way to rearrange the molecules in the paint so that when an electric current passes through them, the eyes perceive a different color. The colors can be controlled by the drivers. Since it requires electricity, the default color is white.
They have developed a "paramagnetic" paint coating, which is a unique polymer layer that features iron oxide particles that are applied to the vehicle's body. When an electric current is applied to the polymer layer, the human eye then interprets the crystals in the polymer as different colors. Depending on the level of current and the spacing of the crystals, a wide range of colors can be selected by the driver. A steady current is needed to maintain the color effect, thus the paramagnetic paint doesn't work when the vehicle is turned off and hence the vehicle switches back to a default white color.

Unique concept; altho I wonder how a localized repaint job (due to minor accidents) would alter the mechanism.

The registration number wont change with every current passing thru the paint.

A globule of the paint in the "Color" description in the RC book powered by a small Cadmium cell . Hopefully that should reflect the real-world scenario.

It is not difficult to fake the registration number. Also mostly Cops stop vehicles for checking (say a hit and drive case) based on the colour desciption and make.

Provided that the globule of paint in the RC book also change colour with the car in question based on the mood of the driver.

Wow! This seems interesting. One like me could wish to have white at times, some other colour at another time.

But sadly in India it would be a problem with security and the RC book.

In security, if people misuse it by committing crimes using this,
And in RC book what would be mentioned? Perhaps just Paramagnetic colour.

Abroad, this shouldn't be a problem at all.

But would love to have this on my car, by giving a promise certificate that no misuse would be done.

Seems to be inspired by the BOND movies. I presume there would only a few colour choices. Would it be possible to change the paint from red to yellow and then to green? Maybe not.
