Second gen Gypsy (1000cc) compression ratio & oil consumption question

Folks,

Anyone know the stock compression ratio for a 1993 Gypsy (70k kms)? I googled but only found specs for the King which is 9:1.

My new to me 93 is running great but consuming oil at an alarming rate of 1 liter per 100 km while doing 80-90 on the highway. I did a compression check at my friendly neighborhood maruti dealer, but want to make sure how to interpret the numbers. I am getting the oil seal, gasket and intake manifold changed anyway, just want to make sure if that is good enough to slow the oil consumption. Thanks a lot for the insight.

Also check if its smoking from behind.Could be worn out piston rings and hence the oil consumption. The compression test would have given a fair idea about the health of the engine.Do put out the figures here.
