Palio D AC problem

Hi,
My brother's Palio D is facing a problem with it's AC. The AC is running OK when the car is at idle but whenever the accelerator is pressed the AC including the blower gets switched off.
Can anybody suggest me what to lookout for?

Just a curious question to you.

What if the car is in running withouit AC and you switch on the AC. Does the speed reduces or AC does not start?

I think the AC compressor clutch is slipping.

When you start the car, switch on the AC, does the AC go off immediately or only after running for some time AC goes off?
