Petes Tuning box

Guys,

Petes Tuning box heard this term from long time on thio forum but honestly dont know anything abt it, can anybody what is this ??

For the people who know – is it just a replacement ECU or does it just override the existing computer?
And what does it actually do?
My mate got a Greddy ECU for his 180SX, we haven’t put it in but that should happen soon next year. This is a replacement ECU that is tuned for high boost turbos.

With the existing computer, when the turbo kicks in it switches to open loop and just dumps fuel into the engine. It runs way too rich and is actually down on power.
The aftermarket ECU should fix that.
