maybe there is a leak in coil or less gas. get it checked from car a/c servicing

Its possble the bearing of the blower has given up or the blower fan is out of alignment and is fouling with the housing. Getting it checked ASAP would be a good idea before the motor burns out.

apart from the above, if a leaf or the likes or some other foreign object falls in this could happen, hope you dont have any lil kids fiddling around?

thats probably the reason. If you are parking under trees, there is a very good chance that some have gotten inside the blower. get the blower cleaned.

its a very low sound ..i dont thing any parts are brushing in the ducts..a minute kat kat sound. even when the ac is switched off.the car is switched off..and only the blower fan is working on battery this sound comes. that means it has nothing to do with the gas leakage or compressor

ice formation on the coil ? the moment you switch off the a/c the ice starts cracking. a gas leak causes this as per my knowledge the rest i cant figure it out

I also recently started getting a "kat-kat" type of sound when just my blower is running. It goes away when I hold the plastic dampers on the dashboard firmly (these are used to direct the air flow). So I guess it is a fitment problem. Will get it fixed in the next service.

maybe something fell into the blower and is getting thrown around when the blower is working. best option is to get it checked asap.
