I doubt if, in Neutral, coasting would have any impact on clutch.

When coasting, I don't turn my engine off. The costing time is so short (less than a minute) that switching the engine On/Off wouldn't be worth it. Besides, the power brakes won't operate, leading to safety compromise.

What prompted you to look at clutch wear in the first place?

Kindly give a run-down on problems, noises, vibrations please -

Have you inspected the old clutch - (after your replaced it) - any observations on it?
