Bolero External Rear View Mirror

Well...not really technical.

Somebody banged my External Rear View Mirror and the mirror is gone. The plastic shell is intact.

Is it possible to get the mirror fixed into the existing shell?
If so, any idea where i can get it done?

Thanks in advance.

yes it is very much possible to get a replacement mirror for the shell is the locks are not broken
If so, any idea where i can get it done?
you can get then from any spare part shop

but i would recommend it as the replacement glass will be of inferior quality

Yes ,spot on manik. The glass which come as after market fitments would be of inferior quality.I would advice you to go for a complete change over.

Inferior quality it may be - But its just not worth changing the whole assembly just because the glass is broken !! I have an ordinary mirror (i.e. not even concave) cut and glued on to my left OVRM. It does the job pretty well for over 1 year now.

Check with the Mahindra dealer to see if they offer just the glass replacement. Most likely they will say no because they probably make more money selling you the whole assembly .
