Gear change problem !!!!

Hey guys,

Ive noticed a problem with the car recently which is a NHC 'CVT'. Whenever i drive at higher speeds, the rpm of the engine is always high. I mean even at 80 the rpm stays at above 2500 rpm, despite me leaving the gas pedal and waiting for the gear to change.

I feel that the car isnt changing to a higher gear and hence it remains at high rpm's. A friends 'CVT' too has the same problem and he says it still remains despite giving it in for service. Experts, please advice on what i should do. Should i take it to a mechanic or just get it serviced.

With a CVT, you'd rather not hand it over to your neighborhood mechanic. Isnt servicing / Honda A-S-S the only option ?

Yes, the CVT shouldn't be serviced by local dealers. Get the car checked by an authorised Honda service station.
