Help with part idenitification

Was just cleaning and checking the fluid levels, when i noticed this pipe hanging loose in the engine bay. Tried to keep it back in place, but it seems very arrogant not to obey. And, i need the car later in the evening, so cant leave it unattended.

1. What is the purpose of this hose?

2. Is it ok to drive the car to the service centre, which is a few kilometres away, with this wire hanging around?

3. Don't know when it came lose. But by the position, it looks like its been taking atmospheric air, instead of purified air from the air filter. Any harmful effects, or any parts i should get checked?

Pics are attached-

Looks like the breather/vacuum tube. You can drive all you want with that tube disconnected. Will cause no harm. But always better to get it put back in place.

Use a plier to press the clip at the tip and then insert it back OR spread the clip and move it backwards on the tube, insert the tube and move back the clip to lock. This is the valve cover breather tube.
