need to fix small scraches

Hi All,

I want to patch up small scrathes in my car not so deep.
I heard about rubbing polish.
will it work.where can i get it and please suggest the brand.

Rubbing polish can only remove superficial scratches i.e. if a slight layer of paint gets scratched from the top and not if you can see the primer or metal below.

If you do, touch up with a nailpolish of the same colour.
