Hi,

Can anyone provide pointers on glass and headlight polishing for Cars in Chennai or anywhere in Tamil Nadu? Information on the cost will also be helpful.

Regards,
Zain

I am not claiming to be an expert on this, but automotive glass is very hard, and even the most abrasive polishes for automotive use (such as metal polishes) would not be able to cut the glass to achive a smooth effect. Replacing the glass is the only solution here.

Plastic headlamp covers can be polished using regular automotive aborasive polishes (e.g. Meguiar's number 80 polish, finished with #7 glaze and protected with #26 wax). I am sure others can help you on where to get this done in TN.

For headlight polishing you can go with any mild wax polish..
It certainly adds some shine
