Rear Axle for Pajero 1990 model

Hi friends i have a 90 model imported pajero super select 4wd automatic. She is stranded with her left rear axle broken. i have tried with Mitsubishi Motor Corporation and they are good guys who offered to make one in 90 days time but the diagram of the shaft does not match mine (It has a caliper to mount for a disc break). I imported one from Dubai and it was longer by 1 and a quarter inch.(This shaft is meant for a disc break model in the rear whereas mine is a drum break) and the MMC history shows that they released the SS4 only in 1991, may be my baby was a test batch release but cant communicate and make MMC understand- they go by computers and badge numbers. Can any body help me find an axle manufacturer who can make one custom-made may be one or two pieces based on the right rear axle sample i can provide.

Oh boy, that sounds like a tough one. Good news is, you have two of India's brightest motoring stars in your vicinity.

1. Get in touch with N. Leelakrishnan from Leela's auto house, or with Chettinad Sporting. I am sure they'd be able to custom build an axle for your Pajero. Look up their contact information here.

2. The other option is to look up Pajero stores online. I'd still go with option 1, but if unsuccessful, this may be worth a try.
