Honda Civic - Do you use unleaded petrol or the premium one.

Hi guys,

I have recently bought a civic 1.8 MT and it has done its first free servicing. I was told by the honda serviceman that it is better not to use the premium petrol in this car. Now this confuses me a lot. Even the petrol lid on the car says "unleaded only".

Do you guys use premium? Any issues with that ? I have filled it up with premium this time to full tank but otherwise I have been using unleaded all the time. I knwo that using premium would be better for the engine anytime.

But can any of you share your experiences with unleaded and premium ?

In Bangalore Petrol sold is Unleaded, no matter its regular or premium. Premium will have additives added by the petroleum company.
