Any specialist painters in Delhi?

I have a very small paint chip off on my rear bumper of Hyundai Verna. Tried spray paint, but hell it became worse.

Wondering if there are any great painters in Delhi who could touch this up?

Colour: Real Earth (Light Golden)

I may not want to get the full bumper painted though.

If colour matching is perfect (guaranteed), then maybe, I will go ahead with full painting.

Hyundai A.S.S. asks around 3000 for bumper painting

Contact iraghava, he has contacts at Pandit Auto. Don't know about light golden, but they do have very nice shocking pink and summer yellow :
.....
Just kidding! Do contact them though, the paint jobs I have seen are top notch

Wow! iRaghava is the Delhi Dada on the forum...

I got a custom paint on our Esteem from Pandit once! Whoa! They are really good.. The ol' man who owns the shop is a fine gentleman too

But for this kinda job, they would be killer expensive!

I need more of a Jugaad...

Tanveer - how is the monster treating you? I hope the loan is going smooth!

Yup, he indeed is a gentleman & the work is top notch! And the reason I haven't recommended them here is exactly what you've said in the above line, they would be too expensive for such a thing. Not to mention he won't do the jugaad, he'll insist on painting the whole bumper.

So any guys with a masters degree in jugaad management? I wouldn't care if they can speak English or not

I want artisans!

Check out architect's palio MJD thread - he got his side doors/bumper dented/painted in 6k from a Chevy A.S.S while Tata-Fiat asked 12k.

or just PM him

Phamilyman - Architect's Palio was done at a garage in Kailash Colony by the name of KJA Anthony Automobiles. How do I know? I was the one who recommended that shop to him!

arre kya ishan bhai,

pehle to +1 to architect's post!

I never ruled out that possibility. I was just coming from the perspective that I only knew that Architect did a VFM.

Of course, its a given that for 80% of Delhi TBHPians who get some car job done happily, there's a link to you/kpgetz/gunbir/suman/tsk in there somewhere :-)

Where To Get A Good Paint Job In Delhi !!

I have a 2005 Honda city in golden colour . Since its been 4 yrs old so there are many scratches and dents all over the car. Therefore ,I plan to give it a good paint job all over but I think getting it done from the company workshop would be very costly . Can you guys suggest any good place in delhi to get the work done or do you suggest that it should be done by the company workshop only ??

yeah I have heard he is good but I guess he would be even more expensive than the company workshop. Do you by any chance have an idea how much he charges for full body painting ??

I am assuming that you are looking for quality work but at a cheaper price than the Company A.S.S (if not quality then any Tom, Dick will paint a bumper for 500 - 1000 bucks).

You can try Bright Motors near Peera Garhi in West Delhi. Its near Paschim Vihar on the outer ring road. Its an Authorised service centre for Maruti but they do paint jobs for other makes too. Good setup, bake booth and all.

I was referred by a neighbour who used to get all their cars done from him. I got both my Scorpio bumpers painted from him for Rs. 3K (M.A.S.S was asking for around Rs. 10K). When front one was scratched, I got it repainted for Rs. 1800. I am very fussy about finish but was fully satisfied.
