Esteem- Rear Disk Brakes

Hi guys. I want to install rear disk brakes on my esteem. Have seen it on Radha Selvaraj's circuit racing car. Which ones are they, where are they available and how much would they cost?

Weird, I didn't see it on Radha's car.
But, may I know what brake pads you're running on the front discs?

talking of brakes, is installing rear discs the right way of improving braking ? Can't anything else be done ?

Secondly Nitrous, are there better brake pads than the stock ones in the market ?

Upgrading the fronts is simpler. The Esteems stock brakes are horrible; weak & prone to fade.

I would defintely like to know who's done this!
However i have upgraded mine with Slotted + Drilled discs with Esteem type2 calipers + ceramic pads, next upgrade is booster + master cylinder. Haven't planned for the rears yet.

So what do you suggest ? How much money needs to be invested to improve them ?

Wouldn't a brake upgrade in the front warant a suspension upgrade as well to negate excessive squat?

A huge percentage of the braking is done by the front wheels. Work on first improving the existing discs at the front, rather than risking a rear-disc conversion at this stage.

Got your point. What are the things that one can do to improve it ? besides the OEM brake-pads and polished discs.
