Opel Astra ECM Failed!

Hello,

My car service dealer has informed me that my astra ECM has failed! He says get it repaired or replaced!

Does anyone know a good fellow to repair my ECM? I stay in Navi Mumbai, so someone near & someone pro at his job!

Any Astra owners here? who have repaired their ECM or replaced it?

why dont you try getting it from kurla cst. Last time I saw a whole lot of Astras there being scrapped

if not then i know a guy in dahisar who repairs ecm. i dont know how much he charges but his number is 9224013425 name is waltern. this guy once took me to his friend who is a gizmo freak. he reapirs ecm for mercedez benz and all. so u can try him. quite genuine!
but serious reccomendation is go in for e second hand one frm CST road at kurla. i've always found geniune stuff there.

Are you sure Astra's are scrapped at Kurla Railway station? When did you see it last time?

Any experience anyone?

I suggest go to Kurla and get as much as spares that you can for the Astra ie vital spares cause not many would be available in the market.

maybe you can pick up an aftermarket ECM.

Get hold of a second hand unit instead of repairing, unless its absolutely impossible to find one.
