My advice will be to do a complete AC servcing, which will take half a day. I guess this hasn't been serviced for past 8 years except for refill.
1. Opening of dashboard and hence the cooling coil, and cleaning.
2. Flushing of condensor and dryer.
3. cleaning and oiling blower fan, various relays
4. checking tension and condition of belt
5. cheking compressor and its clutch. flusing old oil.
6. replacing O rings
7. using WD 40 on fan regulators and relays.

Whole thing will set you back by Rs.800 for gas recharge and rs.1000/- for labour. Plus rs. 200 or so for various small parts like o rings, referigerant oil etc. This is not a MASS rate.
I went too far,I guess.

But absolutely endorse what you have said. Just to add,if the blower motor is weak, overhaul that as well.

Lajpat Nagar has a very well known AC shop, close to where all the accessory shops are. Sorry, I don't recall the name. Ask around; it is a Sardarji's shop and is right on the inside main road.

Hey all ,

I got my AC repaired .

It was identified that the AC Cooling pipe ( inside the dashboard ) had a leakage . So we changed it . Cleaned the blower fan and in short the whole system and filled in gas .

I personally didnt try how the A/C is working now as I am at my work location now .
My brother said that the difference before and after the repair can be felt .

I just read in a post here in team-bhp that the blower of Zen is weak compared to Alto or a similar car . I would want to test drive my car and then check the possibility of getting the blower replaced to that of an Alto ..

Anyways thanks a lot for all the inputs that you guys gave me ..

cheers
