Problem appeared again so cleaning distributor did not worked.

@slipstream: you should get the fuel tank cleaned (as it is without fuel for long), fuel pump and pipe line checked and carb. tuned. Car should start in petrol without any problem. Also remember that 1000 has mechanical fuel pump so petrol takes some time to reach engine when switching to petrol from LPG. Solution is to press accelerator pedal about 7 times quickly and then give the self. If it does not start then repeat.

cars having mechanical fuel pumps on lpg kits should have them replaced with electrical ones because the mechanical fuel pumps keep on running while the engine is in operation even though no fuel is pumped this leads to fuel pump failure. Electric fuel pumps on the other hand are switched on only when the car is switched to petrol mode . Also electric fuel pumps can be switched on while the engine is not running because they work using the battery.
