Whats the maximum exhaust gas temperature for a Diesel turbo scorpio

Hi Guys

Just installed my pyro-meter before the turbo in the exhaust manifold. I want to turn up the fuel for extra pulling power. But I need to know what is a safe EGT for the 2.6 SZ Mahindra engine, non crde.( Scorpio)

Most of the posts on the net suggests 720degC as the sustained maximum for diesel turbo engines, but I want to make sure about this.

I have turned the max fuel screw 180deg and it made a worlds diference in drivabality. The highest EGT's that i've seen sofar was about 500degC, so there is still some margin to 720degC.

Any thoughts on this or someone who have done this before will be welcome.
Regards
