Indigo --battery Light on when start and RPM meter is dead

Hi
I was having the same problem in my Indigo 3.3 ys old

'battery light which stays
on when start and RPM meter is dead. On slight
acceleration the RPM meter comes to life and battery light is
gone.'

still exists even after Lucas guys changes the regulator and oil seal to rectify the problem of overcharging

Earlier Tasc says it required alternator servicing but the issue is something else

Also i see some chik chik noise when window rolled down and goes more with the speed

Any one faced the same issue..
Pls throw light
