| Need Help - Swift clutch -how much play ??
Today had taken my Swift VXI for A/c Mtce (will report in the already existing thread). After the mtce the guys took a TD and come back to say that the Play on the clutch pedal is too much. Therefore they are adjusting it to "protect" the clutch. Actually I had not found any difference in the clutch play from the date I purchased the vehicle. Even Simran had done two services before and have not mentioned anything.
Anyway now they tighten it so much that now the clutch has gone half way down in the depressed condition. I am finding it very odd driving the car with only half a depression for using the clutch. No difference as such in the feel of the drive.
Guidance needed from other Swift Petrol owners regarding what exactly is the position the clutch needs to be in !! I have a distinct feeling that Simran may be trying to see my clutch wear out fast for swindling me.. |
