First get the brakes and tyres sorted out, then go for stiffer suspension based on how much roll/pitch the car has.

Just upgrading tyres will make the body roll worse as the suspension will now have to overcome higher lateral forces.

I experienced this in my car when i upgraded from 175/65 R14 S322 to 195/60 R14 G3. Then i got the shocks stiffed to match the tyres and now it handles really well.
