Glass Polish India

In another post I got GLASS POLISH INDIA's technical Manager Mr. Gautam +919820435679 and just spoke to him that I wanted to get my vintage car's windscreen to be polished as it had a lot of scratches, and immediately his counterpart in Bangalore called and fix an appointment to do the needful. Now this is called service and I hope to get a lovely polish job done. Will update you guys on their work.

Saves me a lot of money and time in getting a new replacement for the vehicle.

It's possible with the help of glass polishing. I've seen hairline scratches being removed from the windshield !

Guys, got it done, but dont expect any miracles. My windscreen was pretty bad. Deep scratches will not go. But yes now I can drive in the night without the light getting scattered.

My friend got this procedure done on his NHC's windshield.
Cost him 1500 bucks. The wiper streaks have faded to a great extent and minor scratches are gone.

Guys, my 10 year old Lancer windshield has got lot of scratches. I don't want to go for a new windshield as I am thinking of changing the car in 3/4 months. Meanwhile, I find night driving difficult as streetlights and other car headlights appear as 4-crossed stars and it is very glaring and irritating. Will glass polishing reduce that night driving problem? Any suggestions please?

Re: Glass Polish India

I understand its an old thread.
Any present updates on how the front glass can be polished.
Again a 10yr old Santro. Having a tough time driving in the rain. The wipers don't do a good job on the rough surface of the glass, it keeps jumping spots.
Any idea of results using toothpaste for the same.
Thanks guys.

Toothpaste or any others stuff does not remove scratches simply by applying it by hand. What you need is a glass buffing machine. I got the scratches removed on my Lancer's windscreen (even the deep ones) by paying 1500/- to a local guy who specializes in glass buffing. He applied a pink paste all over the glass and then used the buffing machine. Took almost an hour and is indeed hard work. The paste is made of Selenium oxide or dioxide.

Nowadays, MUL and other service centres offer this service much cheaper.
