Well the sound which was emanating from the engine bay turns out to be from the throttle body and is normal did check it out other 1.6 cars at shaman including a brand new one.

Facing a new problem though recently had been to Mahableshwar the car was running fine till Pune but after that could fell the loss in power the car was not responding well while pressing the accelerator any ways reached till Wai but halfway to Panchgini on the ghats the car was not accelerating at all, stopped the car for a few seconds cranked it and the car was running again but still the car was not performing 100%.After reaching Panchgini the car was parked for a few hours and the car was running fine again 100% and the drive back to Mumbai was non eventful, but Yesterday while idling with ac on the car was running for about 5mins and all of a sudden the car stopped with a shudder cranked it again after a few a few secs and the car was running again.Members any idea what could be the problem looks like the fuel pump is acting up.

Good idea to check the air filter, fuel quality, fuel filter and the ignition pack. Last will be to check the fuel pump.

I suspect it is a problem related to bad quality fuel, but I may be wrong. Generally we refuel on roadside bunks on the highways, and those are not always known to stock clean fuel.

Jaggu recently had the air filter changed so that is ruled out,as regarding the fuel the car was tanked up in Mumbai itself.
