High idle a/c rpm for carb 800

My 800's (carb) idle rpm with the a/c shoots to 1300 rpm after start.I went to the a/c guy and asked him to set the idle lower at around 1000 rpm,it seemed fine afer he adjusted teh screw. However when i took the car out again in the afternoon i found the idle rpm had settled again at 1300.Is it advisable to to adjust the screw again or is this normal for a carb.

My driving distance was short around 3-5 kms but the temp guage was between the cold and the half way mark.So shall i adjust the idle screw again with a warm engine ?
