IFTEX System G - Cleans the Jets?

Hai BHPns,

The manufacturer of system G , added to petrol, recommends 1 ml for ltr for optimum benefit. My dealer told me to use 2 squeezes, 20 ml for about 40-45 ltrs which means its about 0.5 ml per ltr. My questions to the techies are:

1. Does this thing really clean the jets, its adds about Rs.1/- per ltr on recommended use.
2. What is the correct ratio, 1ml / ltr or 0.5 ml / ltr?
3. Is it available in all petrol bunks, Im going off to a long,

long trip.

I think it does, atleast to some extent. No harm in using it, it can only do good.

I have heard more on the lines of 1 ml/ltr

On all decent pumps. Usually on all good HP and BP outlets atleast.

Well, if you are going on a long trip you might consider going to the service station(MASS or similar) and get the injectors cleaned.

Maruti Service centers generally charge INR 400 and they clean the injectors thoroughly.
If you get this done after a long time - you will easily notice the increase in performance and FE.

hello ramkya....i haven used iftex but i have been told that u are to use 0.5ml for every litre for the first 1000kms and then raise it to 1ml to every litre...

i have used iftex, i put 2 cap fulls in a full tank. 30 liters, but there are a lot more additives available. I have seen STP , Bardhal & some other brands being sold.
If one normally does fill speed or power what extra benefit do these additives give?

there are lots ot brands of feul additives.. can the bhp'ns please tell about:
1) which brands really cleans well the feul system and injectors?
2)how well does fluid cleaners compare to a machine cleaning done at the service station?
3) how often should the machine cleaning be done at the service station?

please help......
