Fiat Petra 1.6 ELX Radiator issue

Hello All,
I have Fiat Petra 1.6 ELX (Petrol) which has covered 69,500 KMs sofar.

Two days back while coming from office in the night around 09:00 PM I hit a small stone which was lying in the Road.
Next day I realized that my Radiator is Leaking. There was this Green Water in the Parking Lot.
I took the car to Tata Dealer and on checking indeed Radiator was damaged. The Right side was craked. Service guys told that it is unrepairable. They took the radiator for outside Repair in JC Road (Bangalore) to many places and every body said Not repairable. I too spoke with couple of people and they all said, Fiats Radiator is unrepairable.

Now My Problem is:
New Radiator is not available, since it comes in Fiats' NLS (No Longer Serviceable) list. So Tata Folks are suggesting me to go for Palio 1.2 Radiator. If this is the case, I have to replace Radiator, Fan and Reservoir, which will cost me Rs. 12,000/- together.
If I order for 1.6 Radiator, Radiator alone will cost me Rs. 14,500/-.
So Money wise, Definitely going for Palio 1.2 Radiator makes sense.

But my question is: is Palio 1.2 (1200 CC Engine) Radiator Kit is enough for Fiat Petra 1.6 (1600 CC Engine)? As per Tata Mechanics, its absolutely fine.

Whats your Opinion?
Do I have any alternatives?

Your suggestions/Advice is very important to me to take decisions. Please give your Thoughts

Regards
Rai

There is no such thing as unserviceable.

You need to find a guy who specializes with radiator repair. I am sure you will find one in a city like Bangalore.

Also search for kabadi dealer who deals in buying insurance total loss cars.

Thanks Makesh. Thanks SirAlec.

Makesh,
The number you gavve is of Puna. Does this guy manufacture new Radiator as per Petra specification or he repairs (refurbish) the radiator?

And Gurus,
Any reply to my another questions... In reality, is Palio 1,2 Radiator sufficient for Petra 1.6?

Appreciate your quick reply.

Rai, also look up Lawrence Radiators in The Team-BHP Directory. They can make any kind of radiator, whatever the application / size / shape. And their products are amongst the best available in India.

I'm sure they'd ship to Bangalore.

Don't believe him. A FIAT spares executive himself once told me that 1.2 and 1.6 fuel pumps are same . Truck load of salt.

You can check with this workshop and check the rates.

You can also speak to Kava guys and take a decision.
