Re: SmartWax by Pete's

Bangalore - Location information for Pete's Smartwax detailing centre:

It's located on Varthur road towards Palm meadows. You would need to cross Marthahalli bridge then come towards Kundanhalli junction. Go straight towards Palm meadows and look out for the place to your right side.

Car detailing is more than just " a nice shampoo wash & wax polish ", its more of a long term protective treatment for the exterior.

Re: SmartWax by Pete's

Detaling job was superb as i have seen other Scorpio owners asking for the model and so on as their one's are not shining . i just inform them its been smartwaxed. I am immensely satisfied with the explanation provided by Mr Shibin and his team to deliver the same.I was just a spellbiound to see smoothness of my perl white finish...awsome.
Would recomend the same for any car for more than showroom finish.

Hi chet,

Today I went to this place and surprisingly I didn't find any vehicle over there that too being a Saturday , so can anyone give me recent update about this shop. He told for full detailing( 6 coat) it will cost about 7500 rs for Manza and 2500 for 2 coat waxing.

Dear All,

Any pointers, also if you can advice whether to take this or 3m package for my Manza ( Tyrian Wine -colour) or do we have anyother available in bangalore.

Mod Note: Please do not post back-to-back.

Re: SmartWax by Pete's

Another testimony to head over wheels. Yes. I got my car smartwaxed from petes smartwax, Varthur road, Bangalore. Thanks for the report from chet1376, webblescott and others.
I opted for one year AMC package which cost 12K. Things covered in this package
- First time washing, detailing, removal of contamination on the paint surface and applying of six coat sealant.
- Three more top up maintenance services that's to be done every three months.

How good/satisfied am I? Well, I am extremely satisfied with the kind of work they did. This place is run by Mr. Shibin who is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.

Things I liked
1) Glazing mirror effect - the finishing was fabulous.
2) Now, the surface of my car is butter smooth unlike before.
3) Stains left over by the hard water in some tricky places over the last 1.3 years are gone completely.
4) Mr. Shibin kept the customers informed thoroughly about the process, materials used and benefits of it.

More than all of it, I get a feel that I am driving a brand new car.

Let the pictures do the talking.

Hi webblescott, how is the effects holding up down the line after six months? Do you only shampoo wash it in between the 3 month maintenance?

Hi the glossy finish is still intact. All i use is car shampoo provided by pete's which is from chemical guys USA. And once in a month i do use smart detailing spray on entire body to take it to the next level which is also from chemical guys. But due to rainy season there was a lot of tar came in contact with the body. Removing them with a diesel wash was a big pain. Later soon after the wash re applied the detailing spray and its back to normal shine.

If you have any plan, I will say go for it.

Re: SmartWax by Pete's

Any pointers on how much time does Pete's normally take to smartwax a 3 year old Civic ? The Hyderabad shop quoted 7k ; he said they will apply 12 coats and is a 3 day job. However he did not say anything on different packages.

Re: SmartWax by Pete's

My polo is getting smart waxed tomorrow from Xpress Garage(Pete's) Calicut. The quote given was 8500/- for 1 year with 3 free services once in three months. I want to know is it worth enough and also the quality of the so called 'smart wax'. Please throw in suggestions guys.

Hi Nidhin,

Did you go ahead with the smart wax? If you did, can you kindly share your experience?

I was contemplating on getting this done.
