Opel Corsa - Water in the left door!

Of late, I have observed an unusual noise coming through the left door. Every time I swerve towards the right or brake hard, I can hear the sound of water gushing; something you'd hear if you jerked a horizontal bottle to and fro. I heard this noise after it had rained (the car is parked uncovered).

On checking further, I realized it was coming from the bottom of the left door frame!

As such, the window packing is tight so there is very little chance water could have entered from the gap between the packing and the window pane. Also, this is pretty recent. For the entire monsoon I did not encounter this problem.

Is there any other way water could have entered the door? And I also wonder how the water comes out since I do not see any visible vents or holes at the bottom of the door frame. Is there anything inside the door frame that could be damaged because of persistent water?

I'd like suggestions on how I can prevent water going in!

Water WILL go in, but then, there are holes for draining them. Those must be blocked.

What car is it?.

what car is this? all cars usually come with a drain hole on the door bottom. the hole may remain open or covered with rubber boots (boots have holes as well).

muck around the holes usually prevents rain water from seeping out.

It's a Corsa..

To check if the holes are blocked, would I need to remove the door panel or can I unclog them from outside?

I'm surprised this is common, never experienced it with any other car1

Anyways, thanks! will check it tonight.

Yes, this is common during the monsoons, and I think you can unclog them from outside.
