Instead you can use following for increasing the FE by atleast 10-20% for either petrol/Diesel. I am planning to install in it my Indigo Marina with in one month.

Neodymium Super Conductor Magnets

Hi guys, I am a new member to this forum. I possess a newly bought Fiesta 1.6 SXI with ABS. Recently, i came across this web site: http://maxfuelsaver.com They talk about a product that supposedly reduces fuel costs by 25%+. This product uses "Neodymium Super Conductor Magnets"...whatever it may be. Does it really work?
What say you??

i had tried Fuel energiser which is a similar product made by WB Engineering which claimed to increase FE by abt 26% ...they attach this magnet to the fuel line and then say that the FE will increase and throttle response increases...i tried it only on the conition that i would get my money back if i was not satisfied with it ...i dont remember the excat cost but i got it back

How does a NdFeB magnet affect fuel? I would consider this stuff and voodoo at best. save your time and money.

Maybe the magnetic attractive forces pull u closer to the car in front.. and hence u need to press the accelerator pedal less.. Voila better economy

And Dude seriously this doesnt help, my friend had tried it and his mileage didnt move up by even half a km. Give it a miss

It could have been an OEM auto part if it worked. 25% savings on fuel is lots to ignore.
