I think the amount asked for the stuff by GM is quite ok. They are changing the Springs, Fitting a CNG Kit and giving you a warranty too.
But the downside is really bad, 19 secs for 0-100. That is too slow......
and can you please tell me how much kms it will do in that amount of CNG...

From what I've been told, you can probably get about 200 kms per tankful of CNG. Based on personal experience with Optra FE in Mumbai traffic however, it's closer to 160 kms.

Foolish GM should have come up with an LPG kit instead. At least the car would run 400kms on a tankful and not end up being as fast/slow as a Sumo.

Can anyone tell me how much would be FE using CNG on Optra, what is the price for 1 KG of CNG ? I heard that we would got more FE when we use CNG?

fuel economy should be somewhere near 17-18 k's.....getta tomasatto achille or bedini kit.....the performance of your car will greatly depend on your air filter as the cng gets mixed with air right behind that filter.......i've been driving cng in my OHC but i hardly regret the little performance drop.....it took me a while to get the right tuning and at one point it gave me almost the same performance as petrol but with low efficiency......everything depends upon the cng-air mixture....but running your car will be cheaper anyday....if you want to get a cng kit....i say don wait.

Cost of CNG in Delhi is Rs.19.20 per KG.
My XETA has a 12 KG capacity which fills up to 9.06 KG only ( The science rule of Gas expand during hot conditions, So the cylinder fills up with less Gas.Winters it willl go up) with 9.06 KG I get around 155 KM ( W/AC) and with 30 % AC usage around 148, roughly 16 KM per KG for a 1405 cc XETA engine..! I will be completing my CNG Review today, Just wanted to ask is there anything specific anyone is looking for..!..I'm still short on the ECU unit..so its the regular CNG system as of now.
