Problems with Chevrolet Captiva. GM & Dealer unresponsive

I have some issues which cannot be corrected. I did not check them before buying.

Suspension is hard

gear shift cruder(worse than tata spacio)

unsettled ride quality

But these problems have risen after sometime...

Windshield whitening during rain at night on the outside – this is not a misting problem (not able to show it to dealer); need to wipe with a cloth using considerable amount of force to get it clean again. (Dealer polished the glass – now filled with scratches)

Steering wobbling; excessive during braking.

Steering pulls to the right on sudden acceleration.

Dashboard and panel noise during acceleration.

Poor braking quality – braking is not gradual; there is no response and suddenly I get heavy braking.

What am I supposed to do...

Will be thankful for any sugestion from your end.

Re: Have isssues with my year old captiva - no response from GM or dealer

Get the car serviced at a competent independent garage. How many kms has the car done? Guess the clutch is due for a change. Check the suspension bushes, brake pads and when you get the wheel alignment done, do make it a point to balance and have them rotated.

Naveen,

Firstly, how many kms has your SUV run?

Second, drive a well-maintained Captiva to compare the gear shift, ride quality & suspension to your SUV.

Either your wheels need balancing & alignment, or your brake discs / pads are uneven.

That's the torque steer

Again, compare to another Captiva and gauge if its a problem with your car, or that's how you find all Captivas.
